From the Tractora cooperative, we promote FOKU at our space Atoi in Bilbao by inviting artists from our close circle, with whom we share common interests and trajectories, to produce an exhibition of new work and collectively undertake a technical review of their entire career.

This production effort is channeled into a public digital archive that compiles an overview of their work, together with an  extensive documentation in the form of an annotated bibliography. We aim for this material to function as a study tool that adds depth to the Basque context, mapping the dimensions of each practice to provide an informed access to their processes. To date, we have traveled this path with Iñaki Garmendia and Idoia Zabaleta, connecting their historical trajectories with their current work and sharing a genealogy of influences that can be useful for understanding the evolution of art in our context.
